The Long Weekend Off

1. Avatar (3D)
A must watch movie.

2. Bowling
Sucks at bowling. 2 games combined I scored a total below 100 points. I only discovered then, how the point system works.

3. Journey to Genting

4. Some eat-all-you-can-promotion RM19.90 steamboat restaurant
The food were not that great, but acceptable. Ate for almost 2-3 hours until the 3 groups that went in before us had left, and also 3 of the surrounding tables had changed customers too. And we used up 2 bottle of gas for the steamboat.

5. Casino (mainly Sic Bo)
Overall, I raked in RM300. As early as the 3rd bet, I won RM250 from a 1to50 bet on a "Specific Double and Single Number Combination" 225. While the rest of the time there were ups and downs and some narrow misses from scoring again the 1to50 bet again as I slowly earned the remaining RM50.

6. Starbucks
Forgotten that I have free drinks coupons. Marble cheese cake.

7. Kino (A form of number jackpot similar to Toto)
Did not try my luck on that.

8. Sleep
Snoring Orchestra. I was too tired and sleepy, so it did not have any affect on me much

9. Bah Kut Teh while mid way down the hill.
The non-halal bah kut teh of course!

Let the stomping begin

Stupidity at its best again (this time both sides)

Stomp 1:
Couple of idiots decided to parade a decapitated cow head to protest against the relocation of a Hindu temple. And then they started stomping on the poor cow head. Some idiot enforcer they just let the whole scene unfold. Soon after, another 2 bigger idiot stepped in to defend them. Though, some even bigger idiot, ensure that those couple of idiots will be charged (not punish, punishment only comes in when they are convicted; and they are charged with petty offense only, when they should have immediately thrown into detention camp by the ISA, not that i support it). The trials are still running through.

Stomp 2:
Not learning the lesson from 'Stomp 1' that stomping is obviously condemned, some idiot decided to put a 'doormat' bearing 3 idiotic frogs face so that few other idiots in the party can stomp on their face. As if those 3 idiotic frogs could feel pain on their face.

Stomp 3:
Referring to 'Stomp 1', those couple of idiots who are still on trial, must have 'repented' on their action stomping on decapitated cow head. So they did not do another stomp-the-cow-head, they came up with even better idea, they put the opposition face on a cow body, innovation stemmed from 'Stomp 1' and 'Stomp 2'. So they start stomping! There wont be any weight on whatever the opposition said as the idiots in 'Stomp 2' were not punished, so who are they to condemn the same act being done.

Some football post...
You would have thought that teams that have to deploy their players into positions unfamiliar to them they would not do very well in their match. Not. Arsenal won their match with Ashravin scored a brace as their make-shift attacker (he is a MF?) in the absence of RVP and Eduardo. ManU won their EPL match with only 1 senior defender Evra, and 2 make-shift defender Fletcher and Carrick (Both MF), won their CPL match with again Evra the only senior defender, and Fletcher, Carrick, Park JS played again out of their normal position. And Liverpool is drifting further and further away...Damn...

Bad Translation :D

kompek = compact
impak = impact
protes = protest
diskusi = discussion
partisipasi = participation (omg)
teknologi = technology
The above are all taking the English word and making it into BM own version of the word
Only the last word sounded ok, the rest is too lame

muat turun = download
direct translation.

muat kemaskini = update
and i don't even know how they end up with this

Just a few days ago, i heard this on the radio regarding translations prepared for movies in the cinema, and etc etc, to list a few:

"They are shooting, duck" would be translate to "Mereka sedang tembak itik"
"I hate her. Period." to "Saya benci haid dia"
"Shoot at will" to "Tembak Will"

...and the list go on, if they can't make a proper translation, might as well don't make any as either the translation lost its meaning or/and it tend to degrade the translated language (in this case BM). And not forgetting, why would you want to translate even the movie title? Stupidest!
